Kisses! and McDonalds!

A McDonald's fast-food outlet in the south east of the Netherlands has agreed to remove urinals that are shaped liked wide-open red lips.
The decision was taken after a shocked American customer complained to the McDonald's head office in the US.
The news reached international newspapers and magazines!

Kisses! at Ibiza!

We are very proud to announce the arrival of the Kisses! urinal at the hippest island of the world!
Since a couple of weeks the Kisses urinal can be used in world famous Manumission Bar M in Ibiza town!

During the last year we asked the owners of a Kisses! urinal to send us some
pictures of their installed urinal. We received great response from people all over the world
and want to thank everybody that send us the lovely emails and beautifull pictures!

Bathroom
Mania! and Dutch Design Tiles!
June 2nd, 2005
At the 100% Design fair in Rotterdam, Dutch Design Tiles will
introduces a new line of decorative tiles designed by five
Dutch design companies. Bathroom Mania! was asked to be one
of the companies involved. With Marcel Wanders as one of the
other designers involved, we are in good company.
Besides our designs for Dutch Design Tiles we will also introduce
an own line of design tiles. Check them out on our site!

Mania! in Milan!
April 22, 2005
From the 13th till the 18th of April we have been showing
our products at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan!
Once again we joined WET®
at their stand.
Like every year, the fair was very busy and lots of people
visited our stand. We got great response from press and visitors
on the real life Kisses! urinal. They loved it!

Mania! in Canada!
February 20, 2005
The biggest Interior Design Show of Canada is the IDS in Toronto.
The Dutch
Consulate of Toronto has invited us to join their boot
with four other Dutch Design companies Droog,
Moooi,
Danskina
and Cowch
and two dutch design magazines Objekt
and Frame.
It was a great experience and the first time that we showed
the Kisses urinal to the North American public. Responses
were great and quite some people had seen Kisses before on
TV!

1st
Kisses! shipped!
December 28, 2004
Good news! The first Kisses urinals have been delivered! On
December 14th the first Kisses urinals have arrived in the
Netherlands. An exciting moment for us, the first load of
the product that took us so much time and effort to realize.
Now we finally have the chance to really show our designs
to the world.
Meanwhile (within two days after the container arrived) the
first Kisses have been delivered to customers around the world!
"They look great!", is the response we've been getting from
our customers! We have asked them to send us pictures of the
installed urinals and soon we will be making a gallery on
this site where you can see the Kisses installed at places
worldwide!
Sales of the Kisses back-inlet have gone so fast, that they
are currently out of stock. We expect to have those will be
available again in February/March 2005. There are still some
top-inlet Kisses in stock and those can be delivered within
two weeks. Better order
fast!

At Bathroom Mania! we love fun design items and always keep
our eyes open for new designs from young Dutch artists!
Bathroom Mania! Friends! is a new item on our website and
will be updated on a regular basis with new and dazzling designs.
The first designs we would like to introduce to you are Cowch
from Utrecht and WET from a Dutch designer in Italy.

When you read this you have found our new and improved website!
We are very happy with it! The new site gives us more room
and functionality to serve you to the fullest.
Our totally renewed website contains new pictures, illustrations
and texts, but the most important new feature is the webstore!
The Bathroom Mania! webstore is the only place in the world
where you can buy the 'Kisses!' urinal. Besides
the ordering functionality, the new website also contains
our other designs and provides you with continually added
background information. So check back in every once in a

for Mariscal!

Together
with a Dutch travelling theatre festival,
Bathroom
Mania! has
offered
a 'Kisses!' urinal to the famous Spanish illustrator/designer
Javier Mariscal, as a publicity stunt for the 'Boulevard
of Broken Dreams' festival in Barcelona, Spain.
'Estudio
Mariscal' is a diverse company and there are photographers,
interior designers, editors, architects, computer specialists,
typesetters, illustrators and creative consultants working
together on many different projects.
One of Mariscal's most famous designs must be 'Cobi'
the mascot for the Olympic Games of 1992 in Barcelona. To
show you his diversity, in the eighties Mariscal has also
exhibited with the Memphis Group with some furniture designs.

urinal will be available as of january 2005!
It has taken quite some time, but the production has started
and the delivery date of the first edition is known! We
must say... the urinals are really fantastic!!!
You will be able to order the limited first edition of the

Lighting bathtubs!
Jan Puylaert from WET is a dear and real Bathroom Mania! friend.
He especially helped us in our search for a manufacturer,
by inviting us (and the Kisses urinal) to join WET at numerous
tradefairs in Italy and Germany. (also check 'Tradefairs')
From mainly white designs in the passed years, this year WET
introduced a very colorful bathroomseries! A bathtub and washbasin
with colorful LED lighting. The bathtub is made out of plastics
and therefor easy to use outside, connect a gardenhose to
it and you will be able to bathe in your backyard!

Friends!
- Cowch
Cowch, a bean-bag ofcourse!
Sometimes running into new and interesting designs is very
easy. In this case it was in our own office building! A befriended
designer showed us his new design, Cowch!
Cowch is made out of a real cowskin and therefor every design
is unique. Cowch is very comfortable, fits in every interior
and is maintenance free. A really comfy beanbag for sitting,
lying, reading or relaxing!

worth a visit)!
